HRW researcher Kyle Knight's Allyship Award from interACT Advocates for Intersex Youth

HRW is thrilled that our colleague, Kyle Knight, has received an allyship award from interACT Advocates for Intersex Youth. Around the world, HRW works in deep partnership on a range of issues, including in our work to end medically unnecessary surgeries on intersex children. Intersex activists have been speaking out against so-called “normalizing” surgeries for decades, and HRW is honored to stand alongside the community to push for standards that respect bodily autonomy and informed consent. HRW staff across the organization have contributed to impact on intersex rights, and we’ll continue the fight as long as it takes.
