Colombia: Disidencias de las FARC asolan a comunidades afro

Pese a los esfuerzos, las autoridades no han logrado frenar los abusos

(Bogotá, 13 de diciembre de 2018) – Grupos disidentes de las FARC están aterrorizando a la población mayormente afrocolombiana del municipio de Tumaco, señaló Human Rights Watch en un informe difundido hoy. El informe, de 64 páginas, “Violencia reciclada: Abusos por grupos disidentes de las FARC en Tumaco, en la costa pacífica de Colombia” demuestra que deficiencias en la desmovilización de miembros de las FARC —y en su reincorporación a la sociedad— contribuyeron a que se formaran disidencias de la guerrilla. Estos grupos, incluidos Guerrillas Unidas del Pacífico y Frente Oliver Sinisterra, ahora asolan barrios urbanos y veredas rurales de Tumaco. Las disidencias han contribuido a causar un drástico aumento en la tasa de homicidios.
