جنوب السودان: تقاعس عن محاسبة "الأمن الوطني" عن انتهاكات مروعة

عدم تنفيذ الإصلاحات، وعدم ضمان المساءلة، يُعزّز الجهاز

نيروبي، 14 ديسمبر/كانون الأول 2020 - قالت "هيومن رايتس ووتش" في تقرير نشرته اليوم إن سلطات جنوب السودانتقاعست عن وضع حد للانتهاكات المروّعة التي ارتكبها "جهاز الأمن الوطني" (الجهاز) أو التحقيق فيها. منذ اندلاع الحرب الأهلية في ديسمبر/كانون الأول 2013، نفذ الجهاز اعتقالات تعسفية تنطوي على انتهاكات، وعمليات قتل خارج القضاء، وإخفاء قسري، ومراقبة غير قانونية، دون مساءلة أو إنصاف للضحايا.
